Education

  • Are you interested in expanding your business by adding the ability and knowledge of professional wig skills?
  • Are you interested in learning how to make beautiful realistic looking lace front wigs and pieces?
  • Are you interested in learning how to style and manipulate synthetic hair with ease?

I'm here to help!! For over a decade I've worked professionally as a wig-designer for theatrical productions Off-Broadway and around the country. I have designed and built wigs for private clients and celebrities, worked in the hair departments of two dozen Broadway shows, and many TV shows/Movies; which has given me a very diverse set of skills that I'd love to share with you!

Over the years I have had the pleasure of teaching privately both in person in NYC or online. I have also taught group education classes through I.A.T.S.E. #798 - Hair & Make-Up Artists, Muhlenberg College, Pace University, Queens College, BMCC, and moderated several wig panels at RuPaul's Dragcon LA.

I am excited to announce that I am currently offering customized One on One Zoom Courses and Question & Answer Sessions!

We will cater your entire course experience to your individual skills and needs!

I am currently working on a group online learning system, more information to come soon!!!

"I'd love to take a class, how can I schedule one?"

"I don't see the course that I'm interested in, can I create my own?"

"How experienced do I have to be?"

  • We accept students of all experience levels; we will create your one on one zoom course exactly to your specifications and skill level!

"How long are the classes?"

  • Our one on one full tutorial courses are a minimum of two hours, but often can be up to four or five hours depending upon the student's experience and the complexity of the project(s) chosen.
  • For very tedious and time intensive projects (knotting/ventilating hair, foundation making or cage-building) the course can be split over multiple days or weeks.
  • We also offer half-hour or full hour question & answer sessions; without a full tutorial.

"How do I pay for the course?"

  • Once your one on one course has been created with a date and a time set, we will email you a 50% deposit invoice for credit card or PayPal payment.
  • Invoices will not be sent until a date and time for the course has been agreed upon.
  • 100% payment is required for courses purchased as gifts.
  • Payment of the 50% deposit is required to book your course.
  • Invoice for the remainder must be paid prior to the start of your course.

"Are kits or supplies included? How will I know what I will need?"

  • Kits or supplies are not included in the course price for one on one courses; experienced students will most likely already have everything needed in their kits but many items are available through us if they don't.
  • We have a basic rundown of kit & supply lists available here; we will let you know of any additional items that will be needed for your specific one on one course.
  • After scheduling your full one on one tutorial course you will be given a unique 20% off coupon code for you to use indefinitely to purchase supplies through us; coupon code is not available for question and answer session students.
